Utah Classical Guitar went through a social media revamping in June 2015. For seven months, us interns set scheduled posts on social media on specific dates with content that would attract readers to the webpage. We attained a 5x larger following from February to May, saw success for our community based on the amount of subscribed members, Facebook analytics and individuals at our events. I designed posters and flyers that displayed events the organization wanted to advertise to the public. I gained experience working with a non-profit and learned how an organization can gather funds through creative methods such as combination ticket sales, membership and donation tactics.
